Dreaming of Humanity Tree of Knowledge & Ubuntu & Ren 仁
Monday, February 12 2024 (Sloppy, needs extensive editing and fleshing out)
My name is Stephen Alfred Gutknecht, RoundSparrow typically on social media. For over 14 years, I have been working with the works of Joseph Campbell, Marshall McLuhan, Neil Postman - all centered around the Irish writer James Joyce, Finnegans Wake. Notable Toronto Canada Professor Marshall McLuhan's collage art book "War and Peace in the Global Village" published in 1968.. I caught my attention a moth or so ago - still the situation today, February 12, 2024 - the Wikipedia article about the book itself has not bee translated to any language besides English. Even though McLuhan being from Canada where French is a second language - and the very nature of the book itself. Wikipedia is very much the kind of modern information system "Global Village" that McLuhan was famous for brainstorming and connecting with earlier generations of media, such as the Gutenberg printing press.
I'm not trying to make this natialist, but my nation in the USA is in serious crisis:
There has been a peer to peer level, everyday people, trusta erotion on the Intenet. I remember the Internet in the 1990's and the visions we had of connecting people - but now even within the USA there is distrust of neighbors over information sources. Some watch Fox News, others read books and this growing division is often hate and mockery person to person. The NFL Superbowl this year, one of our biggest media events (the topic of McLuhan's book is electric media) - people were raging hatefully and even making death threats over Taylor Swift, etc.
Faith in humanity is faith in Ubuntu and faith in Wikipedia . Ren 仁 - and Carl Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot" poem.

Incomplete, work in progress.
#USA2024 the #USA could think about legacy... we could fund education projects to translate #Wikipedia to all languages and fill in gaps in human knowledge. We could invert our USA shitty Health Care System by making a medic/drug Wikipedia all open source globally, include video
But I find in USA sports dominates education, and heavy emphasis on COMPETITION in education - not to raise education world wide, but to lock away understanding only for "good schools" for the wealthy. Do you want to live in a dumb world? I'm sick of the #CelebrationOfIgnorance
An accurate, stable Wikipedia of all human knowledge in open source would raise education across the whole world. Have approved checkpoints without vandalism, build trust in fellow man to correct mistakes for the greater good - #Ubuntu philosophy. Every medical hardware, drug,
procedure detailed in video - with parallel run discussion forums. A complete medical student should be able to use open source information to do medicine anywhere in the world - with "best of all humanity" focus on sharing, describing common errors and mistakes, etc
Encourage @Malala to lead girls in studying this information and sharing their papers to the public so we can get feedback on how education systems are working. Let the USA / NATO world win hearts and minds by showing our best feet forward, faith that education and information
is GOODNESS of all humanity, the metaphor of the Tree of Knowledge in our Adam/Eve stories, that the fruit is to be shared with all in #Ubuntu philosophy. Let great examples like #Linux and #Wikipedia be the basis of ALL MANKIND sharing goodness and self-improvement, civilization
Let schools take on secret projects for films, songwriters, and authors to #TechnicalEdit their works so that our #Hollywood films can use this #SuperWikipedia to have our fiction stories scientifically accurate about space, medical, Earth sciences, remote locations, etc.
Can you imagine a university or high school, or even pairs of them across the world, adopting a film and being able to write reports on mistakes and errors in the science / locations / history, etc? And the school names as Technical Editors be on opening credits of a film?

Personal motivations:
Eucation about adults with autism is terrible. I've been hospitalized and every time the medical doctors had almost no understaning of basic facts from the CDC about autism. I was diagnosed with a now-obsolete Asperger's Syndrome - that is now merged into a "spectrum" - and in general the situation is so bad that every single doctor I asked to name famous- adults people who had autism - they could not! Elon Musk is my same age, and he was diagnosed with the same Asperger's Syndrome... but doctors couldn't even mame Elon Musk! I worked for Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen in the late 1990's, and he too had autism similar to Elon Musk.
